U6/U7 Development Squad - "Meteors"

The "Meteors" development program was full, but we have started a third squad for boys and girls that are 5 or 6 years old, which trains on Monday evenings from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
Numbers are strictly limited and there are only two positions left in this squad, so if you are interested please send an email to: adelaidecomets@adelaidecomets.com
Registration cost is $80 and this includes a playing strip.

President's Report

Read the President's Report from the 2007 AGM. Jim is seen here celebrating the State League Championships at our senior presentation night. This was held on September 29th at Next Generation, and photos of the players and coaches are below.

2007 State League Champions

In emphatic style our seniors capped off a sensational year with a solid performance to beat Gawler 7-1 and in the process have become the State League Champions!

It was a cautious start to the game with Gawler showing grit and spirit to take a 1-0 lead early in the first half. Slowly however the Comets started to show their class and began mounting numerous unrewarded attacks. The break-through came before half time with Kon Antoniou leveling the score. The nerves of the fans were calmed with a dominating second half display that resulted in the deserved 7-1 scoreline.

Scenes of jubilation then followed as players, coaches and officials celebrated the wonderful acheivement. Although the club's Amateur League history is highly decorated, this is the first FFSA trophy. The double bonus is the our Reserves team also won the Championship. It was a great day at Santos Stadium. Congratulations to all players, coaches and officials!!
